G’day! I’m Matt Millar and I love teaching and learning! I am a middle school teacher with a passion for ‘making over maths’. I am always looking for ways to bring maths off the page and make learning better connected for students.
I enjoy sharing experiences and ideas with other teachers and take pride in being able to add value to other teachers experiences in the classroom.
My current interest is in improving maths and numeracy pedagogy which was sparked from my work as a Numeracy Coach here in South Australia.
A motto I live and work by is ‘Kaizen’ the Japanese word for ‘continuous improvement’. Striving for high quality learning for teacher and students!
